Health Guarantee

Parrot Paradise will never knowingly deliver a baby that is not completely healthy. All birds will be free from Polyoma virus, Psittacine beak and feather, and other viral or untreatable diseases.  This guarantee is valid for 30 days after the bird has been received. 

Any diagnosis of a pre-existing condition must be made by a qualified avian veterinarian within 72 hours of leaving the aviary.  In the event that the bird is diagnosed with a pre-existing condition that is non-treatable and seriously effects its health or well being as determined by the  examining certified avian vet, then Parrot Paradise agrees, at its discretion, and upon the timely return of the bird by the buyer, to either refund the entire purchase price to buyer, or replace with another bird of the same species, sex and similar age (as soon as one becomes available). This guarantee is void if the leg band has been removed. 

This warranty does not apply to unweaned birds this is why I do not sell unweaned babies. 

In the event that the buyer fails to have the bird examined by a qualified avian veterinarian within the stated 72 hour period after delivery, then the buyer understands and agrees that the sale is one of “as is” condition 

Once your baby leaves my aviary, Parrot Paradise is no longer in control of the conditions in which the bird is raised nor can Parrot Paradise control other birds that it may be exposed to.

This warranty does not cover death due to mishaps and/or negligence

In the event of death, the bird must be placed in a plastic bag and refrigerated (not frozen) and brought to a qualified avian veterinarian for necropsy and histopathology within 24 hours after death. Bird type and band number must be on necropsy report. If all requirements of this guarantee are met and the necropsy shows that the death is a result originating from Parrot Paradise, we will, at our discretion, either replace the bird (as soon as one becomes available) or refund the full purchase price. We do not assume any liability for veterinary expenses that the buyer may incur.
